The Limes is situated on Boxley Road, on the north side of Maidstone.
For guests arriving by car. Coming from the motorway, once you are on Boxley Road
heading into Maidstone, The Limes is about 400 yards after the brow of the hill,
on the left hand side, just past St Pauls Church on your right, and opposite the
Territorial Army Centre.
For guests arriving by train at Maidstone East railway station. A taxi will take
about five minutes, traffic permitting. If you wish to walk from the station it
should take you no longer than 15 minutes. Leave the station with County Hall in
front of you. Cross the road to County Hall, then turn left, keeping County Hall
on your right. Keep going, following this as it joins onto a large wall (HMP Maidstone).
Keep walking with the wall on your right until you reach a set of traffic lights.
Cross the road here and continue up Boxley Road (there will be a filling station
on your left). The Limes is in Boxley Road, on the right just past Curzon Road.
For guests arriving by train at Maidstone West railway station. A taxi from the
station will take about 10 minutes, traffic permitting. If you wish to walk from
the station it may take you up to half an hour. Upon leaving the station, turn left
to take you up to Tonbridge Road. Turn right and walk down to the river (County
Court building on your right) and over the bridge. Continue straight on up the High
Street until you reach Week Street on your left. Turn here (it is a pedestrian street
almost all day) and keep going until you see County Hall on your right and Maidstone
East railway station on your left. From there follow the instructions above.
